Anna Lomax-Wood, Ph.D. is Creative Director and guiding force behind the new Global Jukebox. As an anthropologist and the President of the Association for Cultural Equity, she has preserved her father's brilliant work and legacy and expanded its reach into the 21st century.
Victor Grauer, Ph.D., developed Cantometrics with Alan Lomax and advises on this component of our research. He is a composer, musicologist, filmmaker, media artist, poet, and dramatist.
Forrestine Paulay, Ph.D., developed Choreometrics with Alan Lomax and directs this component of our research. A co-founder of the Effort-Shape Training program at the Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies, she is a Feldenkrais practitioner and a movement oriented psychotherapist.
Karen Claman, M.A., Research Associate and Coordinator for Cantometrics, Data and Media Samples, is a multi-instrumentalist writer and performer and holds an M.A. in Musicology from Hunter College.
Kathleen Rivera, Research Associate, Data Coordinator and Specialist in Choreometrics assisting Forrestine Paulay, is a composer and performer with a B.A. in Music and Anthropology from Hunter College.
Gideon D'Arcangelo, Consulting Executive Producer, VP of Creative Strategy at ESI Design. An accomplished interactive designer and project leader, he guides strategy for ESI's design projects and clients.
Michael Flory, Ph.D., Research Design and Data Analysis at the New York State Institute for Developmental Disabilities and co-author on numerous scientific papers.
John Szinger, Front End Developer. Designed and wrote the web application for the Jukebox working with the team to bring the stories and information contained in the Jukebox to life in a compelling and accurate way.
